Elianto Product Reviews
Here's a quick reviews on Elianto products:

1. Aloe Face Toner
(for all skin types)
Well-known for its skin-soothing properties keeps skin smooth and healthy.

Yes, it's really soothing and refreshing... I love the way it feels on my skin and it smells good as well. It works great to remove any leftover residue from makeup. It

2. Sweet Moment Body Lotion
The indulging scent for the happy moment, the sweetness of peach and strawberry, blackcurrant enlighten your mood.

This lotion is very light. I didn't find it moisturizing enough for dry areas. The scent is one that I'm okay with, but not a favorite. I'm okay with using up what I have, but wouldn't go out of my way to buy more.

3. Ginseng Eye Cream
Ginseng, stimulates skin cell rejuvenation. It redefines the skin's texture.

This eye cream is greasy! It feels like you're applying oil to your lids. This product didn't do anything for my under eye area. I noticed no difference and felt nothing at the moment.

4. Ginseng Essence
A moisture booster that restores the skin's natural moisture balance, making stressed skin smoother, brighter and more radiant.

Yes, it moisturizes my skin and make my skin smoother and radiant!

5. Ginseng Moisturizing Cream
Ginseng, stimulates skin cell rejuvenation. It redefines the skin's texture.

I have dry skin. I noticed that this moisturizing cream makes my skin so soft and it feels very moist without feeling greasy. It absorbs well and a very good moisturizer for dry skin. I love it and would definitely repurchase again.

6. Nourishing Fruit Juice Lip Gloss (Lilac)
A fine textured, transparent finishing and long-lasting lip gloss. The gelatin ingredient prevents stickiness and smudging. The 10 brilliant fruity colours make your lip as luscious and juicy as fresh fruit pastilles.

Oh, I love this lip gloss. It's not too shimmery or frosty so it doesn't give me an overwhelming glittery pink look. It glides on very nicely, the only thing is it has little staying power.

7. Fiber Mascara (Black)
For lash volume building.

I really felt regretted buying this. It doesn't thicken and lengthens my lashes due to these fibers. These fibers are small and look like fine little hairs. The wand comes out very dry and clumsy when pull out of the tube and the effect is that I get a little mascara. I will not buy this product again!

Note:
I should say that some of the Elianto's products are good and some are not so good on me. It all depends on the skin types you have. If you feel good with it then go ahead. If it's not good on you then find another one which suit you.

For the Ginseng Essence, Moisturizing Cream and Eye Cream (for dry skin like me) - Apply the Essence first then apply Moisturizing Cream. Wait until the cream absorbs then continue the Eye Cream. You can apply the Eye Cream around your eyes.

Homemade Banana Facial Mask

Monday, June 22, 2009

Homemade Banana Facial MaskAnother way of making a homemade facial mask is using bananas. In my previous post, yogurt and honey can be used as facial mask to clear up skin problems. Bananas are full of vital nutrients for bodies. Apart from that, bananas also benefit the skin when applied in a facial mask. Bananas are high in Vitamin C, A, B6 and B12, plus they contain potassium and magnesium. The fruit acids in bananas help slough off dead skin and energize the complexion.

How to Make a Banana Facial Mask
Mash a banana with 1 teaspoon of honey. Apply the facial mask to cleansed face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 15 minutes and rinse with warm water. Instead of using honey, you can also replaced the honey with milk, oatmeal, or Vitamin E oil. Banana really helps to keep skin from drying out. In other word, it keeps skin moisturized.

How to Relieve Tired Eyes

Tuesday, June 16, 2009

My eyes always seem to be really tired and often comes with sinus and headache due to an extended period of time on a computer. Computer related eye problems are often recognized as a separate entity called the "Computer Vision Syndrome" or CVS. Doctor said I'm spending too much time staring at the computer screen and that is why my eyes are becoming tired all the time. He advised me try to have regular screen breaks at least every hour and at least try and look away from the screen for two minutes before carrying on with any work. This will give the eyes a break for a little while and therefore they will not be as tired.

Self-massage is good to relieve tired eyes. It relieves tired eyes by increasing circulation to the eye area. With eyes closed, place your thumbs under your eyebrows, starting at the inside corner of each eye socket. Press and gently move the thumbs in tiny circles, working slowly towards the outsides of your eyebrows and continuing this movement all around your eyes, ending back at the bridge of your nose. Repeat this several times.

There is also a little exercise you could try which includes holding a finger up close to your eye, then slowly pulling it away from you as you focus on it. After your finger has got a little distance away from the face, focus your attention on something which is at least eight feet away from you. Repeat this on the other eye and you should find that your eyes feel a little more awake.

For home remedies, what you can do is to place 2 teaspoons in your freezer and take them out after a few minutes. Place the cool metal on your eyes for a few minutes to feel relieved. Another simple method involves using used tea bags on your eyes. It will help to soothe your eyes and take care of the darkening under the eyes as well.

How to Tie a Sarong or Pareo

How to Tie a Sarong or PareoSarong designs

A sarong is a large tube or length of fabric, often wrapped around the waist and worn as a kilt by men and as a skirt by women throughout much of South Asia, Southeast Asia, the Arabian Peninsula, the Horn of Africa, and on many Pacific islands. The fabric most often has woven plaid or checkered patterns, or may have brightly colored by means of batik or ikat dyeing, although often today, they have printed designs, often depicting animals or plants, or resembling batik or ikat. - Wikipedia

Sarongs (in Mauritius they are called Pareos) are one of the most popular and universally accepted fashion trends from the tropical islands of the South Pacific. The sarong is popular in tropical climates and makes great vacation wear.

Tying a sarong is not as complicated as it may seem. It just takes a little patience, practice, experimentation and a relaxed attitude. Sarongs can be utilized to make quick dresses, shawls, swimsuit cover-ups, scarves, turbans and anything else you can dream of! Sarongs are easy to wear and very sexy, I have no doubt about it!

Hair Rebonding

Saturday, June 6, 2009

Hair rebonding is a revolutionary permanent hair straightening system that makes the hair pin-straight, soft, smooth, silky, and shiny, with little or no damage to the hair. The cost for this treatment depends on the length and thickness of the hair, and of course, it's pricey. I just had my second time hair rebonded recently at Cutting Edge, a local hair salon and academy at The Spring, Kuching. The reason why I want to do this is that my hair is frizzy and it makes me look untidy. It is the dream of all stylish women to have beautiful hair and one of the most happening fashion trend followed by the girls of the present generation. It was a tiring experience because it took me almost 5 hours to get my hair done. What impressing me is that this salon is using L'oreal product only on their clients! What I've noticed about this salon is that they always ensure only quality hair care service to their clients. Their stylists' are trained to provide only excellent artistic touch; giving every client a chance to make change and express themselves.

My hair after rebonded

In the end of the session, the hair stylist introduced me L'oreal Professionnel Tecni Art Liss Control - Smooth Control Gel-cream (picture below). This cream is ideal for smoothing unruly hair, 24 hours anti humidity protection, and UV filter. In other words, it is to control my frizzy hair, especially my highlighted hair area. That part of my hair didn't get rebonded because it damages my hair by using the chemical for rebond treatment.

Big Eye Circle Contact Lens

Monday, June 1, 2009

Circle Contact Lens is also commonly known as big eye Circle Contact Lens. It makes the iris appear larger in size. This product was originally invented in South Korea. The appearance is often said to look somewhat akin to the design of how Shōjo anime characters' eyes appear. As of 2009, Circle Contact Lenses are almost nearly exclusively used in East Asian nations such as Japan, Hong Kong, and South Korea and at the present time are not well-known to the general populace in other nations. Currently this product is not yet sold in store shelves in western nations and can only be purchased online. The circle contact lenses are rising in popularity on Asian internet forums and shopper's blogs dedicated to beauty and cosmetics. However, along with this popularity, issues concerning the quality of these lenses have risen as well. Currently, there are still companies selling circle contact lenses without bearing the stamp of approval from health services.

I just got my pair in the mail recently which I ordered from HiRYuzaKi LeNs. They're awesome, good quality and comfortable. They are inexpensive compared to most coloured contact lenses I had before. They definitely make my eyes look brighter and a great alternative to the big eye look. I wear them almost everyday now. There are some common and known Korean brands like GEO, Dueba, Bescon and Neo.

For more information, please visit HiRYuzaKi LeNs.

Note:
It is always recommended that you should consult an eye specialist in case of the contact lenses harm your eyes and cause your eye infections and abnormalities.
