Women Celebrity Fashion at the 2009 Oscars

The 81st Academy Awards, popularly known as the Oscars, honoring the best in film for 2008 was held on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. Certainly, the Oscars are a glamorous opportunity for all the women celebrities to boldly shine on. Who were the Best and Worst Dressed this year? In my opinion, they're all gorgeous and sexy!!!

Here are the women celeb who wore their dresses:

Oh, I loved Penelope Cruz's vintage Pierre Balmain haute couture gown from 1950. I'm a big fan of vintage!! She had this dress, which she bought a few years ago, in storage.



One of my fav dress, Jennifer Aniston wore a beaded Valentino Haute Couture gown paired with Jimmy Choo shoes and Bulgari diamonds. She doesn't look like she's 40!! She looked so pretty and gorgeous!!

Jessica Biel stood out on the red carpet in a silk architectural Prada gown.

Natalie Portman looked pretty and sweet in a pink lilac strapless gown by Rodarte with Kwiat jewels. This pink gown floated gracefully on both the carpet and stage. I think she was a red carpet stunner.



Angelina Jolie in a black Elie Saab gown with Lorraine Schwartz jewels. To me, she's always look gorgeous and sexy in whatever she wears.

Even though it wasn't her night to shine, the gorgeous and effortlessly stylish Halle Berry managed to demand attention in this Marchesa gown. She was smart not to over accessorize such an elaborate gown, wearing only earrings by H Stern.

Miley Cyrus wore a Zuhair Murad long and white gown paired with BCBG heels and a Mary Norton clutch. The jewelry came from Neil Lane. For me, the gown was not good for her as she looked much older than she actually is.

Beyoncé brought her brand of sexiness to the Oscars in a gold metallic gown by House of Deréon (her own brand). The copper tones and warm colours used, bring out her best features. Certainly she wore it quite well!

Anne Hathaway looking gorgeous with her smile. She wore a beautiful silver gown glistened in a jewel-encrusted mermaid dress by Giorgio Armani.



Sarah Jessica Parker looked stunning in a white sparkled Dior Haute Couture dress and paired it with Fred Leighton diamonds. Love this dress!!

Freida Pinto made a standout with her cobalt blue John Galliano's gown with Jimmy Choo sandals and a Judith Leiber clutch. She also wore a vintage 150-year-old ring from her homeland of India.

Vanessa Hudgens channeled Audrey Hepburn in a black gown by Marchesa. Loved the mermaid cut and the gown fits her figure. I think her dress looked pretty on her!

Marisa Tomei wore pleated Versace gown. Very impressive!!

Kate Winslet wore an Atelier Yves Saint Laurent by Stefano Pilati asymmetric gown with YSL shoes and clutch with diamond bracelet and earrings by Chopard.

Reese Witherspoon took risks in a bright blue Rodarte gown paired with antique Fred Leighton jewels.
